I created Photosanity because I want other parents to experience the same confidence and joy that I find daily through photographing my kids.
I have heard from so many parents that they love photographing their kids but are frustrated with the results. They experience moments that they want to capture, but their photos do not reflect the beauty and emotions that they felt in the moment. They feel guilty because the fancy new DSLR they bought when they first became a parent remains mostly unused. They are overwhelmed by quantity of photos they take and how to organize and back them up.
And framed photos in their home? Or that one year baby album they so lovingly planned in their minds during their pregnancy? Forget it!
Through my own experience as a parent as well as a professional photographer, I show parents how to not only take better photos, but also get a handle on organizing, editing and sharing their photos.
However, my approach is different to other photography classes, because what I’ve found is that most parents don’t want to become professional photographers. Instead I show them how they can use photography to get more out of their experience as parents. When they can do that, they can find more confidence and joy daily through photographing their kids, which what most parents really want.
As a result, my clients tell me that I have changed their lives - and that is incredibly rewarding to me because I know parenting is not easy. I truly believe that happy parents make for a better world.
I am also passionate about helping working parents leverage the time that they have with their kids so they can get the most out of their parenting experience while still succeeding professionally. I love helping women in particular to feel good about what they are doing for their families, their colleagues, their clients, their communities and the world.
There are many ways to do this - Photosanity is my way.
To get started, I hope you will join me for a discovery session so I can show you how you can shift your perspective and find confidence and joy daily through photographing your kids.
